(FWD) Urgent Message from the 121 Coalition:
We need your help in a national grassroots letter writing campaign to garner co-sponsorship support for H.Res.121. Please see the website http://www.support759.org/ for details.

The 121 Coalition is a membership based coalition comprised of Korean American organizations and community groups nationwide and dedicated to promoting the support and passage of H.Res.121 (currently under consideration by the U.S. Congress) that calls for the Government of Japan to fully acknowledge and accept unambiguous responsibility for forcing untold numbers of women throughout Asia into sexual slavery during World War II.

On January 31, 2007, U.S. Rep. Michael Honda (CA-15) introduced House Resolution 121 (H.Res.121) along with six bipartisan original co-sponsors. H.Res.121 was immediately referred to the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC). The 121 Coalition was reformed and reconstituted from The 759 Coalition that sought passage of H.Res.759 in the 109th Congress. Our Coalition fully supports immediate consideration and passage H.Res.121 in the 110th Congress by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Please take the opportunity, while visiting our website, to read and download any and all pertinent resources and background material. We also need your help! Get involved by contacting your U.S. Representative and ask them to sign on and co-sponsor H.Res.121 or to draft press releases, floor statements and congressional letters. The greater attention we place on the issue, the greater congressional impetus there will be to act on the resolution.
